Mobile data and phone services sometimes not working after reboot

Hi,
sometimes after rebooting my GS290, I’m unable to use my mobile data. I can enter my SIM pin, but afterwards the symbol on the top just shows “no service” and I can’t make any calls nor can I write SMS or use mobile data.

Did anyone else experience this issue?

I have seen that quite often after reboot. What works for me is:

  • in the setup of mobile networks, choose to not use 4G, but edge.
  • then wait until the phone successfully connects to the network of your provider
  • then switch back to use 4G (or usually automatic selection).

I found this by trial and error, but it did work every time when I had this problem.
