Most annoying bugs as a newcomer

Feeling overwhelmed by corporate monitoring especially Google’s ruthless and insidious ways of fingerprinting users, I decided to move to this ecosystem. I even put away my xiaomi phone which regarding its performance was quite capable but wasn’t supported by lineage OS. After a research and considering my tight budget CMF phone 1 was the most logical and accessible choice so I got one and without anymore fooling around I flashed eOS on it.

So far I can’t complain about eOS privacy and security measures and I’m very pleased. But there are some bugs that are annoying:

  1. Selfie camera is dark on video calls (I’m in a long distance relationship and this feature is vital for me. And now makes my partner frustrated)
  2. Screen color saturation which as I can see has been going on for a while
  3. Fingerprint unlock is not very sensitive and accurate and fails many time (this one might be hardware issue by the way). I had one episode of system crash while unlocking which made me hard reboot.
  4. Murena sync also fails. I had issues with contacts synching with total failure and notes partly synching.

Anyways, Kudos to those who are trying to make this work. I’m looking to ways to contribute to the project economically and intellectually.

Fingerprint scanner is bad. I didn’t test it on CMF OS when i buy the phone before installing E/OS/ but it’s work only when you use it slowly. I’m curious to know if it’s the same with original nothing OS.

The screen color oversatured is still not fixed as you say and after every reboot i have to connect the phone to my computer to use adb and fix it. Boring.

Except that and some minors trouble (bank app sometimes works other times not), it work very well.

Hope bugs will be fixed un the futur and maybe whith Android 15. At all it’s a nice project and thanks for all the people working on it
