Hello! So, A month ago I got my brand new Moto G85 5G, Only to realize There’s… Literally no Custom ROM Support for it. I ended up Rooting it (was a pain) And got one of my A/B Partition slots bricked in the Process! TWRP Has no suppor for my phone either.. I Investigated a bit more, And found out Most Custom ROM Providers support the G84 5G but not the G85..? This was honestly weird. I then found out /e/OS Does not plan to support my device. I’m pretty disappointed by it, Which is why I’m making this topic. I’m just asking If you can Please try and Support my device. No pressure of course! You guys are hard working, And I honestly respect it.

malmo is a qualcomm SoC, so lineage more likely than not. there’s a repo that derived vom bangkk (g84 5g), same SoC

Oh, Wow you found an unofficial LineageOS repository? Dude that’s awesome lol. Unsure if that repository can be trusted, But honestly mega cool dude. Props to you for finding that lol

aibd looked up the codename, then just vendor + codename on github. Those are highly templated repos, would need a build if it works. But as it’s the same SoC (and vendor!) as the bangkk with existing lineageos support, it’s good circumstances

Oh wow, You’re right actually! I took a look at RVKernelManager and It told me my SoC is pretty much the same as the G84 5G! That gives me hope. Thanks for telling me that, man!
