Hi all. Been using /e/OS for a few years now, have been REALLY happy with it overall. However, I’ve been dealing with an annoying problem for the last several versions of /e/OS and am hoping there’s a fix for it. Phone is a Teracube 2E running latest version of OS.
The problem is that I have a library of about 2000 MP3s on my phone and often have my MP3 player set up to just play random songs while I’m doing other things. It’ll play some random number of songs (could be a single song, could be two hours worth of songs), then it’ll just stop playing music. I hit the play button, it’ll play the next song, then just stop again. No rhyme nor reason to it. I force quit the MP3 player (doesn’t matter which player I use) and the phone will play some number of songs randomly, then stop again.
I’ve not been able to discern any kind of pattern to this, whether it be the songs played, how they’re being played (via Bluetooth speaker/headphones/phone’s speaker), another app that uses audio getting activated, etc. I don’t think it’s an issue specific to this physical phone as I got replaced under warranty not that long ago and the old one was doing this too.
Has anybody else come across this problem?
