If I had a wish, I’d like to have a phone as the Mudita Kompakt (that is currently raising funds on Kickstarter) in the Murena lineup - with a connection to the Murena cloud services. This could be a perfect secondary phone, a perfect senior or Junior phone.
The only thing that needs to tweaked is the battery (must be replaceable).
But for now, let’s wait until this little phone makes it to the real world…

I’m not sure that I should do this, but I will repost the Mudita Kompakt request a device post. Back then, when it was posted, that phone was not out. Now, it has been released for 2 years. I think this phone has a lot potential.

according to this, a gsi can work - Lineage GSI for Kompakt - MuditaOS - Mudita Forum. A Community of Minimalist Technology Enthusiasts
check the gsi in the forum. I’d lookout for a matching A13 based gsi at first.. but I’d tap into all the gsi knowledge of your home forum for potential pitfalls with your device

It seems it is possible to install the Lineage OS 20 with those steps. The reason I’m interested in this /e/ OS is the banking apps and I saw that many of them work in /e/OS according to [LIST] Banking Apps on /e/OS . I hope more people get interested in getting at least one of the e-ink devices to work with /e/ OS.
banking apps.. I don’t think you can relock the Mudita, gsi or not. But yes microG makes things easier vs stock mudita. Won’t become easier in the future though with playintegrity etc.
Anyway, someone already wrote up a GSI guide for your device, there’s an unoffical A13 /e/OS gsi build.. this is Mike Tyson holding two doves facing each other. Just prepare the route back to stock (here’s an example where I did). But granted, it isn’t easy.
