since the manual updates didn’t work, which I only discovered last week, my FP3 was stuck on v1.14. Then there was the /e/ server trouble, but as announced by the support, I could update to 1.20-s-20250318477351-stable-FP3 a few days ago.
The Updater now says, I am using the latest /e/OS version
Unfortunately, now most of my apps (Mail, AntennaPod, Amboss,…) open, but crash as soon as I try to open a mail/article. The Arznei aktuell App immediately shows an error: “This app requires a WebView to work.”.
In the settings, regarding WebView Implementation, it says “Android System Webview”.
Is there an easy way to fix the problem or will I have to wait for the (hopefully soon) coming updates?
I think you are likely to get some benefit from install and run the app CacheCleaner. The app has slightly complex instructions to set up for the first run.
Certain apps may also benefit from
Settings > Apps > Select app > Storage > Clear storage. And / or try to uninstall the app and reinstall.
