I have an annoying issue and don’t see anybody talking about it here, so I wonder if I’m alone or not.
I bought a murena 2 a few months ago and since then I have this weird issue where my phone would disconnect from my wifi randomly.
For exemple, I’m on the mastodon’s app, looking at my feed, suddenly no images are loading, everything take a lot of time and then I simply lose the wifi connection and then it reconnect itself alone to the wifi.
This issue seems to also impact the Bluetooth, sometimes I find my Bluetooth fully turned off after this wifi issue, looks like the wifi part of my phone had to turn off for a sec and it also turn off my Bluetooth or something.
Anyway, it’s annoying and I need help to know if my phone has an issue or every murena 2 have this issue.
Already did, they said they couldn’t reproduce the issue but I think all they did was connecting it to a wifi and not touching it for a moment and see if the wifi was still connected because when they’ve send it back to me, I immediately got back the issue
It might be worth checking if this might influence things
Settings > System > Advanced > Developer options > Mobile data always active | Swithch OFF.
Enable Developer options – Settings > About phone > Scroll down to Build Number. Tap 7 - 10 times rapidly on Build number till a notification … Enabled Developer options or so.
I have the same issue. For a reason Wifi disconnects sometimes. I noticed BT was off sometimes too and i thought i could have by mistake turn it off, but as it sometimes happen not even with the Murena2 in my hands, I think it could be the same as you…
Could it be a hardware issue related to the privacy switch ?
Tbh, I don’t think it’s an hardware issue, it never happens when I’m not connected to wifi (when I’m at work the whole day it never happens but at home with wifi, it pretty much constantly happens), I think it’s a full software issue but it got worse with the V2.2
Had some news from the helpdesk last week, I’ve sent them some logs of my phone after wifi crash, they saw the crash but can’t explain what happens and told me that it might only be my phone having an issue because they cannt reproduce the bug, meanwhile it took me 2 minutes here to find many people with the exact same issue than me.
This is not really cool and I’m afraid they just leave me like this with the issue.
If the helpdesk is not be able to debug a technical issues you can raise a bug on Gitlab. First you can check if the issue has already been raised, if not then you can create a new one and interact with the developers. If it is specific to wifi connectivity could be a hardware issue.
