Murena Account Login asks for One-Time Code

Hello,
I want to manage my murena account but the login process asks me for a one-time code, that I don’t have. :slightly_frowning_face: I don’t have activated a 2-factor authentication or anything else. Any idea how I will be able to login?

the screenshot suggests the code is sent to the email. Do you have mail set up anywhere else (mobile, desktop) or are you only accessing it through the webpanel?

Hi and thanks for your quick reply. Yes, I have access to my e/OS email with my mobil phone. Unfortunately, I don’t receive a code. I’ve checked the spam folder as well :frowning:

weird then, it’s said to only turn up if there was a go at setting it up - anyway, according to one of these threads a password reset helped?

Yep, I had the same problem. They turned on 2fa without me :slight_smile:
PW reset helped. You can set the same pw btw.

Thanks again, I’m getting closer to the problem step by step:
Now, I’ve tried to reset my password but:

  1. I am not able to reset my password since I do not receive the mail (to reset it) either!
  2. Yes, the email account works as I receive other mails (e.g. from this forum topic)

The reset flow would need a recovery (secondary) email address that you would’ve set up at some point? if not I don’t see how to exit this but the helpdesk.

At the end of the day the murena helpdesk solved my problem. Unfortunately I don’t know what causes the problem. The helpdesk just wrote something about an “issue”. However, Many thanks for your great help :slight_smile:
