Hi all,
since the 4th of may last month, my Murena cloud account is no longer receiving photo’s from my device. I have them up to May 3rd and then nothing. Sync has always been enabled, is still enabled, everything is checked and I have zero errors. There is also no way or button to ‘force’ sync or to upload pictures manually…
Previous topics about this subject have gone unanswered. What gives?
FP5 with E/OS version 3.6.
Have you tried to force stop the app and wipe out cache? That helped in the past to start it again.
What app? This is something that runs in the background, there is no app to close/stop.
do other entities (Contacts, Calendar..) still sync? did you reach a space limit on the 4th of May?
murena built a re-authenticate button into AccountManager if auth is the problem.

If the sync state is an issue, one can reset the cache of eDrive, and secondary reset the storage of eDrive app - forcing a reassesment of what needs to be synced.

When reviewing the sync settings for my murena account on the phone itself, it did mention that all syncs are ‘enabled’ however the last sync for ‘photos and videos’ was on may 2nd (even though i have a picture in my cloud from may 4th but whatever). I disabled and re-enabled the sync for that line item, it shortly thought about this, then changed the date for ‘last sync’ to today. However, no new photos have been synced towards the cloud since, remaining stuck on the last item from may 4th.
I did receive some notices as of late warning me that my ‘cloud storage is 80% full’ but that is not 100% so that shouldn’t stop sync I should say.
I did restart the phone just now but this did hot help, there is no additional syncing of pictures/videos happening.
Just to test this, I have deleted items from the cloud until it dropped to ~60% storage used, but no difference. It still won’t sync.
I tried putting the sync process to ‘foreground operation’ - still no change.
@tcecyk I did perform the oath reset as you suggested (no change in behavior) but I cannot find where to reset any caches.
disclaimer: resetting cache is fine, but reseting storage resets the small database that keeps count of what synced in the past. When you reset this, files will be force pushed again that were previously pushed, but deleted on cloud for example. At best you have a second copy/backup of what matters to you.
Settings → Apps → upper right: Show System → search for “drive” → choose eDrive → reset cache, reset storage
