Murena Two security updates

Hello,

I had created a thread that was merged here: AOSP version for Murena Two and wanted to follow up as the thread is closed and no longer accepts responses.

Is there an expected date for the Murena Two security updates? If not, is there a way to do it manually?

I am concerned about having a device that has no security updates.

No, you need a new /e/OS build on the base of a newer Android version.
Android 13 doesn’t get security updates anymore.

@Manoj is there any hope for me to see Murena Two upgraded to A16 this year? I think earlier you kindly mentioned that I could run a backup and flash A16 version, would that be doable on Murena Two?

Also, my USB C port is acting shady, I feel one pin might be damaged, is that something I could replace, if so, where can I find the specs to buy the part and replace the module?

I checked with the developer and got an update that the team was working on it. There were some issues they were fixing. No ETA’s shared.

On the parts replacement you would have to check with the helpdesk. They would have the information on the devices we sold, parts availability and services provided.
