When I am using the Music app, whether I select the play function from the album cover or from the first track, the order that the tracks play in seems erratic, and not in the listed order. This seems to be true across formats (MP3, .ogg, .m4v mostly)
I checked / edited the metadata on these tracks where needed so I believe the track information is correct.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this / how to fix it?
there’s a button to the most left from the “>” Play Button, the crossed-arrows that enables random replay.
If that button is active and you play any album it will be random, is the button inactive, playing an album from the overview will indeed conform to the numbered order.
You can see the order by bringing up the “drawer” slide to the bottom of the maximized play view that shows the playlist.
