My computer cannot find my CMF Phone 1 on fastboot

Hello Slightly smiling face
To start this topic, I want to thank you for all what you do here.
I just got a CMF phone 1, because we can install /e/ there Grinning face with big eyes  Then, i’m trying since 4 days to do it, but i still can’t. (I use Windows 10)

I did these parts :

  • Boot the device
  • Enable the Developer options
  • From developer options, enable OEM unlock
  • Reboot on fastboot by running the command in the PC console adb reboot bootloader

and there all is ok, but when i type : fastboot flashing unlock the result is : < waiting for any device >

(with “adb devices”, there is a phone… but with “fastboot devices” there is nothing with this command, just the basic line C:\Users\xxxxx> )
I tried to install the usb driver in the device manager, but it couldn’t find an update for the usb driver…

Can anyone help me please

Hi @Amnay welcome to the /e/ forum.

It is likely a Windows driver issue. Windows has probably installed a driver which excludes fastboot.

To check, put the device in fastboot mode, connect to PC, open Device manager, look for :warning: Problem device, run Windows update.

Always

fastboot devices

in order to check that the device will self identify before start of flashing work.
