Need to add email to cloud account but email is already taken and its not!

I keep recieving a message prompting me to add recovery email and when l try l get that my email is already taken…

Trying to contact murena after two weeks l recieved a mail explainig all is fine and its not !

Is this the first time you are trying to create an email on murena. This message would show up if the email ID you are creating or the recovery email has been used for another account on Murena.

I must have done that but it never worked

I dunno how to erase my mail from murena mail data…

It will solve the problem of the current accournt murena.io that sends me emails every three hours but my email will remain taken…

Or l could create an email for the recovery email and delete it afterwards…cause l will not use it…

But the fact that there is no one to understand my query when finding a contact murena link

How many ppl stuck in the same situation when one registers ?

I have never used murena io actually l dunno what it does… I wonder if it could store my phone settings so l can switch to another murena phone because manually setting a new phone and setting apps one by one takes hours…

No it isnt…

Murena.io emails say it if full and needs a recovery email but l never filled anything so l have no idea whats the use for it… I just recieve emails…

If l create a backup of my settings on my murena phone can l transfer it to another murena phone vis a SD card ?

As I understand it, it is part of the Murena service that one provides a “second” or “recovery” email address in order for them to run the service properly in the knowledge that they could email you in the event of some breakdown. Additionally if you email from your registered recovery email about some failure they would know it was ok to reply.

Is it possible that you used your protonmail address with them, perhaps in what you thought was a failed attempt to create an account at some time in the past?

Maybe that is possible, but I never tried it and don’t know how.

Once you have a Murena account, if you sometime introduce another phone the second phone will contain a lot of what was on your first phone, but not a full clone and without third party apps for instance.

An email from 2023 inviting le to create an account… Except this time the name is already taken l guess by me…

So l guessing if l delete my account I may bbe able too recreate one with the nale and recovery email…

So perhaps if you reply to the helpdesk email with full details and your intention to delete that account, so that you can have it verified that your protonmail address will be made free quite quickly.

It was not exactly as in the guide but it helped…

Niow l am going to leave it overnight and try create another account tomortow…

They never replied the person was not interested in understanding my problem
She just wrote on her end it was ok

Now my username is already taken and my email is already taken and l recieved 10 error messages already…

And l did set my email with the murena email app that cannot be uninstalled so l had logged off the email app but still it manages to hassle me…

Really annoyed l sooo regret to have set that up…

Removed the screenshot as it has details of your email ID. HTTP 429 shows up when too many request are made from an account.
Can you try changing the password in account settings: settings > accounts > choose your murena.io account > my account > settings > the wheel icon on top (settings) > password , then enter the new password, and click OK.
