is it yellow? that’d be legit. It’s locked, but with a custom root of trust, not factory (as in Google) - Boot flow | Android Open Source Project
Basically if you had the device once unlocked you can set custom warning screens, but yellow is what the spec wants.
Yes! The warning message is yellow!
Does Murena Tablet has any reading mode capable of emulating e-ink screens?
The Murena Tablet under /e/OS 2.6.3 has the “reading mode”, which colors the screen in low-contrast monochrome. I find this pleasant and it is good for reading books and newspapers.
I am now very happy with my Murena tablet!
I’m considering getting the Murena tablet and possibly using it as a staying point to moving fully into the ecosystem and off of Google services. Question, the standard Google Pixel Tablet offers a dock/ base station that turns it into a smart home display like an Echo Show when charging. Will that dock work with the Murena version? Obviously not with Google Home, but at least the hardware part, set it on and it’s charging? My current tablet has a detachable kickstand and displaying recipes in the kitchen is the main thing I use it for. The dock would be really convenient.
