Nextcloud Filesync with FP5

Hello all,

I’m using a few Fairphones 5 here that I bought at Murenashop. I’ve been running my own Nextcloud for many years, and at first I also set up the Nextcloud app on the phones. That worked, too.

I configured one phone to test it with eCloud. The result was impressive. Using the Nextcloud client on my computer, all data from the phone was automatically synced, even photos I’d taken with the camera.

Okay, so then I set up my Nextcloud as my own eCloud server for testing on a phone. Logging in worked, and some folders were synced on my computer via the Nextcloud client.

But for folders like Pictures, Videos, Documents, etc. where data exists on the phone, only the folders themselves were created during synchronization, with no content.

Since ecloud is based on Nextcloud and the client is already integrated into the phone, the question is: Can I configure the settings so that all data is synced with the Nextcloud client on my computer just like with ecloud? Or do I really have to install ecloud on the server for that?

Many thanks
