After the last e-update in my fairphone5 the wifi Hotspot has disappeard: there is a blootooth Hotspot (my laptop doesn’t find neither) and grey (=not usable/active, probably because there’ s no wuch cable) ethernet hospot. Where is the wifi hotspot?
I had the same problem. Solution for me:
In ->Settings->Hotspot and Tethering
I had to disallow Clients to use VPN.
After that, everything went smooth, even on Security Level “WPA3-Personal”.

Thank you for your idea. But it dies not solve anything in my Problem: there is still no holotspot- posibility…
With thelatest /e/- update to 3.1.4 everthing is like before, no more problemes with the wfi hotspot.
