No notifications from calendar app

Dear readers and developers,

I’ve been using the FP6+/e/os since it launched. Ever since /e/os 3.4 I’m no longer receiving notifications. I toggled the notifcations settings, no difference. I checked MicroG Cloud messaging, it’s not there (not sure if it’s supposed to). Restartes the phone, no difference. Toggled and resynced calendars, no difference.

Anyone else having this? And does anyone have tips or a solution to this? Thanks in advance.

I’m using /e/os 3.4 and foundation.e.calendar 1.0.47.

I am having similar problems with /e/os 3.5 and my Fastmail email client.

For testing I’ve enabled all notifications for the app, but still no notifications.

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong or is this a bug?

the notifications of foundation.e.calendar will not be generated by microg at all, it’s a system facility. If the event is in the calendar, it should get a reminder.

I haven’t experienced this myself (I get notified on time), but there are some reports on Calendars and notifications:

• Missing notifications of several apps (since cleared)
• Calendar notification

Fastmail: unsure if this is related. Only if notifications do not work at all and are overriden by Do-not-Disturb settings?

I get email notifications from Fastmail, but not calendar notifications.

Do not disturb was not enabled at the time.
