No Option for VoLTE

I’m using the latest release for Google Pixel 5 and there is no option for VoLTE in the SIM settings.
Dialing the code *#*#4636#*#* shows that VoLTE is disabled and the toggle also is disabled.

Does your mobile network provider confirm that VoLTE is provisioned for you on their side of things?

And for others reading along, the dial code is *#*#4636#*#* (the forum software will use asterisks for formatting by default).

And is the SIM inserted in the phone? (Otherwise, the setting might not appear.)

Yes the SIM is inserted in the phone.
If I placed the SIM in another phone, VoLTE works.

Which mobile provider is it? Does this particular model/variant of Pixel5 normally get VoLTE on that provider?

I don’t think I have ever had one eOS phone without VoLTE, but all my phones have been Moto or Pixel 2019 up.

It doesn’t depend on the OS, however, provided the build has included the spec, only on the device certification + carrier combination. Some device models don’t get VoLTE with this or that carrier, some do, and some older devices don’t get VoLTE with any carrier (and I don’t necessarily mean ancient devices).

And some “identical” device models might get VoLTE for one regional variant, but not with another, on certain carriers, e.g. North America vs. Asia or Europe variants.

Yes we need to know the provider. I am just saying I have never seen a bug in the eOS to stop VoLTE from working.

The provider is Vodafone.

Do they have a web page where you can check your IMEI for compatibility with Vodafone?

Or you might just want to contact their customer service and ask them to check it, and find out why you’re not getting VoLTE (aka “4G Calling”).
