The SIM card deactivated today on 09.12 during a phone call and cannot be activated since then, so phone and mobile internet connection is no longer possible.
A restart was performed several times with no change in status. Apart from that, there are no other anomalies, e.g. a W-LAN Internet connection is working.
Any hints or tips?
Thank you

Turn off the phone completely, reseat the SIM card, turn on the phone again.
If no success, repeat this exercise and put the SIM card into the other SIM slot.
If no success, order a replacement SIM card from your provider.
And there’s a network reset in the settings, but this also resets Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings.
Thank you both for your quick and constructive feedback
Taking the SIM card in and out was the trick. It’s working again.
I hope it stays that way, fingers crossed.
Kind regards

This can help with troubleshooting, bit it isn’t a 100% indicator. It is possible that a problematic SIM card still works in one device, but not in another device.
If the card is several years old, I would consider ordering a replacement preemptively after this failure during a call. SIM cards are known to tend to deteriorate over time.
