The internal earphone of my FP3+ under /e/OS does not work for a while now. The only way to make sound, in particular during calls, is to use the loudspeaker, or wireless earphones. I’ve tested my FP with the Fairphone Checkup app and the “ear speaker” is not working.
Following the advices from the FP forum, I’ve just changed the Top+ Module (16MP), but the earphone still doesn’t work. Besides, if I try to use headphones via the jack, I can’t hear anything either, whereas it is new too as a part of the Top+ Module… Could this be due to a software problem?
(The cherry on the cake: I’ve just broken my screen, and given the cost of repairing it, I’m starting to consider switching to FP4…)
