I have an Gigaset GS290, /e/OS 3.2-s-20251022539006-offcial-GS290.
Why am I not getting any sound through my DAC connected to the USB port?
The DAC is a Hidizs S9, connected with a mini USB-C cable. It worked fine up to /e/OS 1.13, but after updating to 1.14 or 1.15, it stopped working. Poweramp (HIFI app) only recognizes the speaker. The DAC only indicates that it is receiving power, the green light.
Ringtones also don’t come through the USB port with the DAC.
These are my settings.
Settings > Privacy > Trust: “Always allow USB connections.”
Settings > Developer Options: “Disable USB audio routing” is unchecked.
Settings > Developer Options > “Standard USB settings”: Set to file transfer.
It makes no difference if I put a USB OTG (on the go) cable in between.
The DAC only indicates that it is receiving power, the green light.
