Notes App and 2FA an e/os 4.0

Hello.

It’s that same old problem with 2FA and the Notes app (again).

I have a Gigaset GS6 running e/os 4.0.

Finally, there’s a native way to log in to the device using 2FA right during startup. All apps (Mail, Calendar, Tasks, etc.) can then communicate with the Workspace.

Except (once again) the Notes app doesn’t work!

When I select my Murena account—which I’d previously set up system-wide—in the app, there’s a brief loading animation, and then I’m taken back to the app’s home screen.

I suspect that there’s (once again) an issue with 2FA.

On my previous Pixel 7, I was able to manually add my Murena account in the Notes app and then connect it using an app password.

That workaround no longer works.

Does anyone else have the same problem, and were you able to solve it?

Best regards

I’ve had the same problem since I started using e/OS ( two months ) and haven’t been able to solve it.

I’m going to re-install e/OS this weekend to see if that makes a difference.

I’ve had the same problem since a long time. @Manoj has reported this issue to dev team on March ( Notes sync issues (again) - version 3.3 on FP5 - #14 by Manoj )

Yeah this issue is quite bewildering, I’m seeing it as well on Pixel 8 with 2FA enabled on the Murena account

I re-installed e/OS 4.0, still can’t use notes with the Murena account, only local.

Im experiencing the same issue, my workaround for now is to use the workspace app to access my notes.

However a fix for us to use the regular notes app with our accounts is highly appreciated.

I was hoping /e/os 4.0 would solve the issue (as I hope at every new release), but it is unfortunately still there on my Pixel 5.
