"Notes" app does not work no matter what

Using eOS on Pixel 5. System own notes app keeps bugging. No matter logging in with or without app-password or normal password. I get to log in but it keeps showing me the log in screen, cant get past

Works on the F-Droid fork version tho. Removing accounts and readding doesn’t solve.

If anyone has a clue on the way to bypass this dificulty or a good option to replace this app by an open-source app?

you can install the Nextcloud Notes app from F-Droid:

It is literally the same app and I use it, until it’s fixed.

Other options are: Cryptee
