Notes app gives 'synchronisation error' message, but synchronisation seems to work fine

On the Pixel 5 which I just bought from Murena, when I open the Notes app it frequently gives the message ‘synchronisation error’, although my notes are synchronised. Is there a way of getting rid of this message?

My experience is that this usually lasts 2-3 seconds or under 1 minute.

I have lost one or two notes where I have worked too quickly editing Notes on Murena by PC (as opposed to working on a phone where I mostly generate notes). So I respect this message in my use case.
