My default e OS Notes app doesn’t seem to work, with neither local notes or my murena.io account.
Whenever I open it, I get to the Welcome to Notes screen with the 2 buttons: CHOOSE ACCOUNT and USE LOCAL NOTES.
If I choose USE LOCAL NOTES, screen glitches a little bit and I’m sent back to the screen with the 2 buttons.
If I choose CHOOSE ACCOUNT the dialog prompting me to select an existing account or to add a new one pops. If I select my existing account from the list, again, the screen glitches a little bit and I’m sent back to the screen with the 2 buttons.
I’d guess the failure with the online account stems from the unavailability of Notes api Endpoint at murena.io ?
For sure it is a bug that “local notes” can’t be used then. A logcat of the glitch moment for a new issue in the backlog could be helpful, linking to the ticket that got local account use enabled after all.
Is it the fact that the murena.io Notes endpoint is not up or available for my account?
Notes sync is turned on in accounts settings.
I’ve looked at my murena.io account and i have no Notes app in the list of available web apps, could that be the reason?
Could it be something that i need to do to enable the Notes endpoint?
Do you have any suggestions on that?
I’d guess the Apps function wasn’t tested for the complete unavailability of an already setup online account. If you gather a logcat this will give cues into where to make code more lenient to failures.
