Hi, I’ve been having an issue with not receiving notifications from some apps. For a long time it was just Discord and I didn’t care that much, but now it is Signal as well.
Today Signal popped up a notification saying that my “device’s battery manager may cause notification delays” but as far as I can tell I have given it all notification permissions and turned battery management off.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Maybe you participate now proudly on my ignored (“Have a nice day”) case from 2024. I thought it’s FP3 only but who knows? It’s still there in actual 3.7.2.
The only workaround I found until now is: reboot.
Oh, that’s something else than my case.
Perhaps it’s a good idea just to switch the battery management for Signal again, first to somehow optimized and then back to OFF.
There’s also an option not among the accu options called “Pause app activity if unused” - this is also a hot candidate, must of course be switched OFF (don’t pause!) for all these messenger and communication apps (also Mail, SMS, …).
