Would it be possible to re-upload an older version of /e/, like version 2.2, so the Easy Installer can work properly?

I have the same problem, an working “Easy Installer” for Samsung Galaxy S8 was announced here in the forum for the last weeking, but unfortunately it doesn’t work in the meantime … more information you can find here:

Newbie trying to install dreamlte on S8. Followed instructions ok but cannot download from https://images.ecloud.global/stable/dreamlte/e-latest-r-dreamlte.zip.sha256sum. Tried for a few hours.
