hello. my g930W8 is having issues with the latest e/os/ build. it works on wifi but not on mobile carrier. i searched forums and it appears its a common issue. it seems it did not happen with earlier builds. were can i find older builds of e/os/ please?
Yes I have access to that. Thank you. But are there previous builds even older than that? I don’t care if they are pie builds. I just want my phone to work. There seems to be an issue with latest builds on g930w. It’s all over the forums and I’m having the same problem with no internet connectivity on mobile carrier. Wifi is fine.
You could have a look at the “url:” lines in https://ota.ecloud.global/api/v1/herolte/dev and https://ota.ecloud.global/api/v1/herolte/stable.
Please refer to [HOWTO] Give complete /e/OS version info easily for support, answers, comparison etc to see whether you are running dev or stable now.
If these indeed are all the older builds left now, it seems the device jumped from 0.20-o-dev to 1.0-q-dev, and from 0.19-n-stable to 1.0-q-stable.
So, no Pie inbetween.
However, I don’t encourage to run such old builds for security reasons, and …
… while in general form this seems to be a wide-spread sentiment, it conveniently ignores the existence of botnets and the harm they can do to others.
If you don’t care, you’re not the only one you put at risk.
Have you checked APN settings on the phone compared with those on carrier’s website ?

So yes i figured this out. it looks like you are correct. it is an APN issue.This is how i fixed the problem here
