Oneplus 6T lockscreen wakeup issue

I have /e/ installed on my oneplus 6T. With the latest version, ending in 1083843, I have a weird bug with the screen. I double tap to wake the phone and the lock screen displays as in the photo. The wake screen is smaller than the actual display. A second later it expands to full display size. The phone will do it by activating with the power button also.

Pl can you try changing the wallpaper and check this issue. This seems to be a weird bug with the default wallpaper. Have noticed this on multiple devices.

Yes thank you that seems to have solved it. Odd solution to an odd problem. Does anyone have any idea as to why this would be happening?
