I installed /e/ on my Oneplus 8 pro, and it works great!
Some problems during the installation:
- OEM lock : bypassed with Magisk
- then installation according to the installation procedure

Hi, I recently tried to install /e/ OS on Oneplus 8 pro. Did a minor mistake following the documentation and went through the rabbit hole of bricked device, msmtool flashing. Finally got to install /e/ OS. The part where the mistake happened was under " Booting a custom recovery using fastboot", particuarly point 6. Instead of fastboot command, i pressed the volume button which looped through menu and forced me to switch off the device. To avoid future issues, the present documentation,
- Now reboot into recovery to verify the installation:
- With the device powered off
- hold Volume Down + Power
could be changed with fastboot command also mentioned as follows:

fastboot reboot recovery
- With the device powered off
- hold Volume Down + Power

Do you remember android version on your device before you installed e/OS?
also which version installed: S dev or R stable version? Olso I cant install ```
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img - failed. FAILED (remote: (vendor_boot_a) No such partition)
2. Afte using /e/OS easy-installer the phone have been destroyed and can not boot.
This is hapend on Android 12 and 13.
