The G9 phones have been just released.
/e/ is a fork from LineageOS.
LineageOS is currently unavailable on those phones, so don’t expect /e/ to be released anytime soon.
It’s not even (officially) available on the G8 series at the moment and they were released about a year ago.
If you want to use a degoogled phone, don’t buy the latest devices.
/e/ is just being released on G7 phones that came on the market two years ago.
You’ll have to be patient.
