Using /e/OS Applications

I am using /e/OS 3.0.4-a15-20250708507307-official-FP6 on a Fairphone 6. The phone came with android and installed /e/OS myself. I do not have a google account or google services installed. I am using MicroG that comes with /e/OS.

I downloaded and installed the Pandora App via App Lounge, but I cannot get it to work. On 1st launch, I log in amd the app starts to open, then it closes suddenly. When I restart the app, it opens for an instant and shuts down immediately.

I have tried turning off the privacy settings for the app. But the app still closes suddenly.

Is the app somehow incompatible with /e/OS, MicroG or something else? Is anyone else having this issue. I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this further. I’ve successfully installed and tested Spotify, Deezer, and SoundCloud without issues.

Thanks for the reply jerry74. It’s helps that this appears to be an issue with the app and the OS and not just something with my phone.

Curious - is your bootloader locked or unlocked. Since I did my OS swap to /e/OS myself, my bootloader is unlocked. I had an issue with the Roku app. It would not work because of the unlocked bootloader. But the app was nice enough to say so.
