Parental control pin reset

I recently purchased a deGoogled Fairphone 5. In the setup I appear to have activated parental control. Now I need to deactivate it, but I do not know the pin. I really can’t remember when I made the pin. I’ve tried all the usual options but considering the fact I don’t even know how many digits, there really are too many options to try. Is there any way to reset the pin without needing the current pin?

hello @Hanneke, welcome to this forum.

could be radical, but a factory-reset should solution your problem

Thank you for the quick reply! Is that the only solution? Does that mean I need to reinstall all apps etc?

i don’t know.
(you could delete the parental control relative user’s files in /data partition, but i didn’t find them in “internal_storage”)

My biggest problem at the moment is that it won’t let me connect to a new WiFi netwerk. Is there a workaround for that without doing a factory reset?
