New user here, migrating from iPhone.
I am looking for a password manager that does not tie me into one provider. As an apple native my previous experience had been with that firms own password manager. I have inported my icloud passwords into Murena and already had most regular used passwords on Firefox.
Here on /e/os the logical solution would be either murena or Firefox. However I am playing with Yoti. This can do the autofill globally on the phone and also there is a Firefox plugin (presumably other browsers too) for the desktop.
Yoti seems a good choice because it is independent of both my desktop and mobile provider and thus I can be a butterfly and switch merrily between different OS and browser for both mobile and PC. Helps also that I have Yoti already because our local government used it for ID with their online services.
Company might be considerd a bit crap if you search for it here but that does not stop people from using apple and google PW managers. Also, since it has government contracts etc it is unlikely to go out of business which may not be the case with all de-googled android vendors.
Is anyone with experience using Yoti for PW manager over longer period, and have reccomendations, or have thoughts on it generally?
