Is it possible to ‘pause’ the screen lock, that is temporarily disabling the request for a PIN or fingerprint, but without deleting the PIN code and fingerprint ?
Each time I want to do that, the PIN code is deleted, as the fingerprint, and I have to ‘re-teach’ the sensor when I want the screen lock back.
The use case is, when I am biking, the phone mounted on a bracket, I want to access various apps, including maps apps. And it’s not easy to tap the PIN…
On my pixel 5 it’s worse, as the fingerprint sensor is on the back, thus not accessible. But wearing thin gloves would lead to the same problem.
So I’d like to pause the screen lock when biking, then re-enabling it.
I know Organic Maps can show without having to unlock (that’s great !), but I want to access other apps.
I guess this question is not specific to e/OS.
Any ideas ?
