Since maybe one month, possibly since last upgrade, I have a notification on my phone. When I pull down, the notification card says:
Account update for ***@murena.io
A new login service for a better experience is available. Tap the notification to start us…
When I do this, it got me to a login dialog where I fill in the correct credentials (i.e. the credentials that work on the web at https://murena.io/), but then it hangs/does not complete.
A week ago I selected to create a new account. Now I consistently get dialog for creating a new account, which I do not want (and, as expected, entering here my current ***@murena.io for a new account does not work).
My questions are (1) is this legitimate and (2) what must I do to get rid of this? Help is very much appreciated.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S10, installed with /e/OS 3.3-t-20251215557759-c.
I have not found any. I hope a workaround exists, or maybe the problem is resolved in the next /e/OS version.
Besides a workaround it would of course be very good if someone can shed light on the underlying problem. Why does logging in into my Murena.io account work on the web (using a web browser) but not when by tapping on this notification and entering my credentials there?
You might try the relatively new Re-authenticate found from
Settings > Accounts > your_Murena.io_account > My Account (overview) > Settings (Additional) > Tap the solid blue section (is your ID) > top right “gearwheel” settings icon > Re-authenticate
(If you find it hard to find a Search will find posts with some screenshots.)
