Phone module or phone that includes an ethernet socket

Hi, please could FairPhone develop a phone module or a phone that has an ethernet socket within the phone? This should enable us to plug the ethernet cable directly into the phone without needing an adapter, and hence be able to get super-fast internet via the wire. Surely this would fit with the customisable ethos of FairPhone?

If such a phone existed I would definitely buy it!

I think empowering people to not completely rely on wifi or mobile data (and potential health risks) would fit well with the FairPhone ethos.

I see during the past 8 years several people have said in this forum that they want to get the internet to their FairPhone via an ethernet / LAN / RJ45 cable. However I do not see any confirmation that this feature has been implemented by FairPhone.

I understand that you didn’t ask for the following answer. It’s a bit off topic, but in any case, I just wanted to give a hint to other readers who might wonder if this is somehow possible. I have a hub that I just connect to the Ethernet and then I connect this hub to the smartphone via the USB C port. This is really super fast and maybe this is a workaround because I doubt that they will add this feature to the phone.
