Phone scrren goes dark answering a call

When I get a call coming in, Phone screen goes dark after answering the call. And if I have to select 1 for English, there is no screen to use. If I click the side button the call gets cut off. The same with when I call my bank, after the call gets connected, the answering service ask what services I need and push the proper number, but the screen to do so is dark. What do I nned to setup in order tohave active screen?

Hi, maybe turn off setting that power button ends call? Try System->Buttons. Maybe names are diffremt I use German Language

I have the same problem on my “e-0.18-r-unofficial-2021”

As a workaround, try “simple dialer” from “f-droid”
