Pixel 6 Android 16

Hi, I’m new to this community and the world of custom ROMs. I currently have a Pixel 6 running Android 16 (Material Expressive 3).

Is there any risk if I tried to install e/os? I understand it’s still on Android 15, and I don’t want to brick my phone…

For those who have installed it, would I be able to do so without any issues? I’d like to try this experience given the things Google has done lately…

Before following these instructions please ensure that the device is on the latest Android 15 firmware.

It would be unwise to try.

There are also known issues on Downgrading Pixel 6 which you should make yourself aware of before getting involved with any non Android 16 Custom ROM

Hallo, I’m also new in the communitiy. Some weeks ago I bought a Pixel 6 with Android 16. The downgrade to android 15 is failed, the zip from google android was out of function. But I thought, the risk of bricking the device is lowly, because the difference between android 15 and 16 is also not high.

I tried it with android 16 and it was successful, the device runs good with oriole.

But I can’t give guarantee.
