Pixel 6a. adb sideload 2.9 fails - installed 2.8 with sideload no issues

Hi ALL. I thought I would mention this. the current e-2.9-a14-20250322478432-community-bluejay.zip fails with exit 1. I went back into recovery and successfully flashed the older e-2.8-a14-20250220470208-community-bluejay.zip.

I did verify sha256. I did download and try twice on 2.9. the OS just kept failing with exit code 1.

Other than that this is my second Pixel 6a with /e/. v2.9 runs fine when updated on the phone itself. adb side load is what fails.

I hope this helps someone.

I believe I was able to get the 2.9 on my bluejay using the OTA update. I will check when home in about six hours and post here.

that is correct. I flashed 2.8 and used OTA to upgrade to 2.9.
