I bought the Pixel 7 to test out GrapheneOS. The security features of GrapheneOS are very nice, but make it hard to use the mobile as a daily driver, as I need some apps that rely on Google services. These apps do not work on GrapheneOS at the moment, even in an own profile with GSF installed. These apps work on eOS, so it looks like eOS would be my best fit.

Pixel 7 is one of the few phones under 6.5¨ that does not have inferior specs to the bigger models. It is also guaranteed to have updates for a long time.

It is already supported by LineageOS, so the foundation is already in place

For the ones who might have missed it: Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have been added to the list of devices to be supported by eOS T.
