Pixel 8 after May Patch

Hi.

I got myself a pixel 8 and want to use /e/ but I have updated to the latest May Patch which contain a bootloader update to prevent rollback to older versions.

Would I still be able to run e/ or am I better waiting till Android 15 builds are out

I also would be interested in a solution to the “no rollback” problem. Tried the installation and ended up in the reboot-loop from hell

Fortunately i was able to flash the device and it is still usable, but i am a little disappointed, not being able to use /e/os on that phone.

Thanks, had not seen that!
That does sound promising, one question, though: does community build mean that the Browser Install will not be available?
In that case, I’ll use the time on reading up on the command line install…
