Hey I have installed the newest version of /e/ OS 4.0 on the Google Pixel 9. So it is Android 16. I have installed the stock Google Android 16 factory image before and then installed /e/ OS. One issue I face is that the Pixel Camera app is not installable. In the App Store it just shows Retry. Installing it from Aurora Store also does not work. It used to work on GrapheneOS. Anyone experiencing the same issue?
On my Pixel 5 I have the same situation. I installed a port of Google Camera back then since the e/OS camera app is useless, maybe you can try that. Recommended Stable Google Camera Port Versions
The Google camera most likely will not run under microG. I have no issue with eOS camera app on my Pixels (I have a few). Plus there are many open source camera apps that are quite good.
I just installed this version from apkmirror using SAI (it means Split APK Installer).
Newer versions did not work on my pixel 9a
By the way, you can get SAI in App Lounge in the “Open Source” section
You are almost compelled to use it with Google Photos : I denied network access to Google Photos and Pixel Camera before first launch
