The best thing would be to not install a malicious app. ![]()
Second have a minute view to the apps permissions and remove background activities from all apps, which don’t need running in background (switch off “battery usage in background”). There is another slightly hidden option to prevent autostart at boot, but I cant find it at the moment.
Next thing to do is revoking internet access from any app which doesn’t need internet - for example candy crush.
These points might help to handicap the mentioned attack.
