Play store linking installation to an old device

Using /e/OS Setup

Hi all,

I’m trying to install a payment key for a launcher, which obviously requires going through the Google store. App lounge links to it no problem and I go through the Google 2FA using my old moto G7+. But, bizarrely, that old device is the only one I’m given the option of installing to, not my /e/os FP6. Any suggestions?

As you might know deGoogled means not sharing certain information or spoofing it. That is the result of it.

Please use the search of this forum about the solution, it was discussed in the last 3 months if I recall correctly.

Yes, I assumed that must be the reason why my device doesn’t appear. I’ll have a look back in the forums. Thanks

it is in → settings → microG → registred device

microG should claim you run a Pixel 2
