PlayIntegrity verification failed: ChatGPT app not working

I installed the ChatGPT app via AppLounge, but when I run it I get the message “PlayIntegrity verification failed”, with the options Try again (which doesn’t work), or Sign out. If I sign out and then press Sign in I instead get the error message “Preauth PlayIntegrity verification failed”. And yes I’ve tried all the reboot, clear cache, etc, usual stuff.

I have default settings in microG (everything turned on), and the Self-Check shows a ticked box for everything. Does anyone know what’s going on?

Google Pixel 5 (redfin) running the latest official /e/OS (3.0.4).

I have the same problem. Ideas, anyone?

Thank you! This seems to work well for now.

But I thought microG was supposed to be able to handle this without problems, especially as it claims all self-tests were successful. Does anyone have any idea what’s the actual problem here with microG?

Micro-G will not provide all three levels of PI, if you have locked bootloader you might be interested to see if you get intermediate level. GitHub - 1nikolas/play-integrity-checker-app: Get info about your Device Integrity through the Play Intergrity API.
