Problem with fresh /e/os install on Google Pixel 6 and Android Auto

Hello,

I am a new /e/os user. I just installed it on a Google Pixel 6. I downgraded my Pixel 6 to stock Google Android 13 and then installed /e/os.

Then I installed all the apps I needed and enverything workend well.

At the end, I tried to install Android Auto without reading documentation. When I connected to my car (Dacia Duster 2 if it could help…), it failed.

Then I read that documentation How to setup Android Auto with /e/OS? and found that I need to install some Google apps. I did it.

Since that moment, sometime my phone is poping up in my car and I can launche android auto. But after very few minutes, my phone disapear and the car says “no phone connected”.

When I restart the phone and the car, I am able to have my phone back with android auto. But it finish rapidly by beeing disconnected. And came back just for few seconds. Then disconnect again. Sometime come back, or not.

I don’t think it is the USB cable. I connected the phone on a computer with the same cable, I have transfered some pictures without problems. The same cable and car works very fine with an old Nokia 7.2 android 11 phone with Android Auto.

The last thing I can think is to resed /e/os and try to install only Android Auto to see if it is working.

But may be an expert may have a better idea before to reset the phone where I spent many time to configure…

Thanks my advance for your help !

I think that I found the solution of my problem, I will post it, it could be usefull for some others.

I found a guy with a similar problem of mine (meanwhile it was on an Apple IOS X phone), here : MEDIA NAV - infos - trucs et mises à jours. - Page 162 - Sandero - Dacia - Forum Marques Automobile - Forum Auto

So I tried to update my car navigation system following that tuto : FAQ - Aides en ligne Media Nav Evolution

My Dacia Duster was initially in MediaNav 3 version 1.0.13.368.149. I am now in version 1.0.15.xxx

You must install Dacia Windows tool (cannot publish the link, I am limited to 2 links).

Hope this will usefull to others.
