Problem with installing eOS 3.3 official on FP5 after using community version

Hi,

I need your support, I am currently using the community version of eOS on my FP5. The surrent version is 3.0.4 as it did not automatically find new updates anymore after that. I tried doing a local update, which failed as well.

Now I tried the Web Installer and to install version 3.3 official. The installer ran through the first reboot, until I failed to the the check for allowing debugging to be used for all future tries.

I tried to reload the Web Installer which from started again from scratch and threw an errow whenever trying to download the image file around 45% of download completed.

My next step was to try to manually install the OS, but it keeps on throwing an error, when using the fastboot flashing unlock command:

FAILED (remote: ’ Device already : unlocked!')
fastboot: error: Command failed

For “fastboot flashing unlock_critical” it throws the same error.

Any recommendations on how to proceed?

Thank you guys very much in advance!

From what you say you already have unlocked bootloader. You will not need to do it again.

You can see the locked / unlocked state on the Bootloader screen with big green START at the top.

Guess that was easier than I expected, thank you, worked now!
