I am trying to flash a FP4. But the easy Installer is stuck at "searching for your device“.
I already tried different types of cables and the connection for loading the phone over the Laptop is also functioning.
Do I have to adjust that the Laptop is controlling the phone (under USB-settings, pull down window from above). I dont think that would be the solution.

PS: I am using a mac
Did yoi activate USB debugging in the developper options?

Macs come up from time to time in the context of the Easy Installer, perhaps the search has something … https://community.e.foundation/search?q=mac%20easy%20installer

Thank you now it worked. but I have another problem:
typed OEM, started bootloader but the installer says: “installation of user-specific operating system on your device not authorised“
Did I forgot something?
