Seems unlikely. I think the only thing that could prevent the sim swap is more vigilance on the part of the carriers. What could mitigate it is not using apps that require a phone number as ID.
Only way I found is to use Kaspersky Android suite, which includes SIM-change lock protection.
But it comes with some other inconveniences
I don’t think Kaspersky would help. It is entirely different thing. They are basically pretending to have your SIM card, so no fixing it
